This brave survivor is all heart. Arpit Gohli, 18, of India, suffers from a rare birth disorder called pentalogy of cantrell — where his heart formed outside of his rib cage, according to Caters News Agency. His parents were initially told that he wouldn't survive more than a few months, but he continues to beat the odds. He does so by living his life very carefully -- ensuring that he protects his chest area. If he falls or hits the exposed heart, he could die instantly.
